The People Analyst supports the Ratings People Team, providing them with data and insights and implementation support required to advise and execute on the business’ priorities. The People Analyst is integral to the People Team’s role in fulfilling global regulatory reporting requirements in our highly regulated business.
- Manage and own the S&P Global Ratings Regulatory Reporting processes for SEC, ESMA and OSFI (Canada regulator) reporting. Ensure that all scheduled reporting requirements and ad-hoc requests are met, data is reported accurately, and delivered in a timely manner. Maintain global inventory of S&P Global Ratings People Team regulatory reporting requirements.
- Liaise with Compliance to identify and provide relevant people data required for internal investigations or regulatory request.
- Contribute to the Ratings Management Assessment Report by partnering with Ratings Risk Management in the review, assessment and coordination for People Team controls.
- Collaborate with the S&P Global Ratings People Team on human capital initiatives, people planning and development processes, strategic workforce design, and organizational structuring (for example: year-end compensation management, succession planning, and capability tracking).
- Perform data analysis in response to ad-hoc requests from both the People Team and business leaders. Navigate People systems (Workday, People Analytics etc.) to provide reports to enable People partners to address questions from their clients. This includes retrieving relevant data points, often merging data sets and generating pivot tables to provide precise answers to specific workforce questions.
- Advise People Partners on the impact to people data and business structure in Workday and necessary actions to implement organizational changes requested by the business. Compile and submit related updates to Workday.
- Contribute to projects based on S&P Global Ratings specific priorities. Contributions include leveraging the Tableau-based People Dashboard to pinpoint and contextualize relevant data points based on a deep understanding of workforce analytics, coordination of deliverables across teams, data analysis, process improvement, and development of communications.
- Act as a contact point on immigration efforts, providing immigration lawyers or the business with additional detail when necessary in order to support employee visa applications. Coordinate LCA postings at offices across the U.S, ensuring relevant deadlines are met for visa applications to be processed in a timely manner.
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $56,600 to $129,200. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. Functional & Business Knowledge:
- Applies general knowledge of human resources principles and theories developed through education or past experience to complete assignments.
- Deep knowledge of Workday architecture and relationship to SPGI organization.
- Understanding of workforce analytics and relationship to Ratings Priorities.
- Broad understanding of global regulatory reporting processes with a focus on People Team specific accountabilities.
Undergraduate degree in HR, Finance, Business or related discipline preferred.
